Installation

Currently Improved Chat is only support Spigot and its forks.

Better tell command

The legacy /tell command is pretty bad, the message is long and hard to read.
This feature aims to make messages from /tell more readable and user-friendly.
But /tell command shouldn't be used for long chats.
The next features is more suitable for long private chats.

Persistent chat destination

This feature aims to remove the annoyance when spamming /tell command for privately chatting.
By default (when you join server), your chat destination will be global chat, that means everyone can see your messages.
But you just need to type /chat player <player> once, all your next messages will be sent to that player without need to spam /tell command.
You can switch back whenever you want by typing /chat global.
