Better Discord Integration
Connect your Minecraft server to Discord — two-way chat, join/leave alerts, server status, and more.
🚀 Setup (From Zero)
1️⃣ Add the Discord Bot
- Join your Minecraft server as admin
- Run:
/discord add-bot - Click the link that appears in chat
- Add the Nexus bot to your Discord server

2️⃣ Link a Discord Channel
- Right-click a channel in Discord → Copy Channel ID
- Run:
/discord channel <channel_id> - The plugin connects automatically ✅
3️⃣ (Optional) Set Up a Webhook
With a webhook, your Minecraft messages show up in Discord with your skin face as the profile picture.
- Go to your Discord channel → Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks
- Create a new webhook and copy the URL
- Run:
/discord webhook <webhook_url>

What Happens After Setup
✅ Server Status & Online Players
- When the server starts, the bot connects automatically
- The bot's nickname updates to show how many players are online

👋 Player Join & Leave
- A message is sent to Discord whenever a player joins or leaves

💬 Chat — Minecraft → Discord
- Your messages appear in Discord
- Your Minecraft head shows as the profile picture

💬 Chat — Discord → Minecraft
- Messages appear in-game colored in purple so you know they're from Discord
