New Textures
Thanks thyreo for more new textures!
This batch is relatively small, although we are working on having Spear textures ready for Mounts of Mayhem. The following items have new sprites:

- Sponge Nuke Core
The Adamantite and Palladium models were made by Icedmi, who is the author of the Reincarnation resource pack. Be sure to check it out!
New Data Components
As a part of this port more abilities have been replaced by attributes or made into Data Components. This includes the following:
- Natural Feather Falling -> Vanilla attribute (
minecraft:safe_fall_distance)- This change is meant as a small rework since reducing fall damage with Protection and Feather Falling makes this ability moot anyway.
- If you receive any fall damage outside of falling (E.G. commands or modded shenanigans), you will now technically take more damage
- Natural Smite -> new attribute (
mythicmetals:undead_bonus_damage)- Works exactly the same as before: simply adding more damage onto mobs who are undead
- Still stacks with the Smite enchantment!
- Bonus Knockback -> Vanilla attribute (
minecraft:attack_knockback) - Blast Mining -> new data component (
mythicmetals:blast_mining)- When applied to any item stack, will dig a 33X tunnel, where X is the
depthparameter - Existing Legendary Banglum tools are unchanged

Other Changes
- Carmot Staff and associated components is now fully removed
- Natural Fire Aspect is now hardcoded onto the Sword of the Aegis
- No longer uses an Ability
- Removed Dusts and their config option
- These are becoming increasingly annoying to maintain, while not serving any function in the base mod.
- Might be moved to an addon or something similar if they are actually useful to someone
- Renamed and moved a bunch of recipes
- This is a result of a lot of the recipes needing to be updated for 1.21.4
- Most recipes are now generated by code.
- There might be edge cases or errors with this, so please report any recipe problems should you find any!
- Renamed
star_platinumtostar_platinum_ingotfor consistency.- The language in-game is the same, although this should help + break recipes and tools which relied on this fact
- Includes a registry alias, so any items you have should be converted
- Renamed the "Prometheum Bouquet" to "Prometheum Rose" to match its new texture

This alpha release is almost ready, although it contains a few issues which still needs more work. Ports to newer versions will come ASAP, and I do plan on adding Spears once I have effects/abilities ready for them, so stay tuned!
Sorry for the long delay. This holiday season has been hectic, which is why there is no 1.21.10/11 version out yet. I did not plan on supporting 1.21.4, but with Mojangs intense update cycle I've had to stop somewhere to properly port and refactor old systems. All the mod assets are also now data-generated, which hopefully should be more robust to any data format changes.

Individual Ore Tags
This version adds individual tags for controlling which biomes every Mythic Metals ores spawn in. This allows you to fully configure the features to your liking.
Here is an example on how the tags work together:

In order to move the ore, simply override its target tag.
In this case, you would want to add a tag with replace: true for platinum ore biomes.
For example:
#my_modpack:biomes_in_space <- #mythicmetals:platinum_ore_biomes <= mythicmetals:platinum_ore
Note that you do not need to specifically nest a tag. A list of biomes is fine.

Internal repackaging
All code within the mod has been moved from nourl.mythicmetals to the new com.mythicmetals packages.
This means any addon directly referencing code breaks, and now needs an update.
Please be patient while any affected mods work on these changes.
Carmot Staff Removed
The Carmot Staff is being removed with the next major version of Mythic Metals (not this one). Most code related to it has been removed, and the item has been made uncraftable.
The Block inside your staff should automatically be inserted into your inventory (or dropped on the ground if it is full). The most interesting abilities have been made into new items, see the sections below. The Star Platinum ability is planning a return. The Beacon, Bronze, Copper, Iron and Sponge abilities are not planned to return at this time.
Stormyx Shield rework
The Stormyx Shield now inherits the old Carmot Staff ability of reflecting projectiles. The implementation for it is similar to Breezes, but keeps some of the extra behavior.
- Stormyx Shield will now reflect any projectile
- Shulker Bullets will still break when they hit you (unchanged)
- Removed the area of effect - it will only reflect projectiles that hit you
- Durability will now gradually tick down on the shield while guarding
- When you stop blocking the shield will go on a longer cooldown
- The shield break duration now lasts as long as regular shields
- The shield durability damage now matches regular shields
- Updated the rendering to only surround the affected player
Midas Gold Bartering adjustments
- Added Potions of Greater Luck to the Midas Gold Bartering Loot Table
- These are simply Luck 2 Potions, which give you a higher chance at better loot and rare drops
- These replace the Fire Resistance potions in the table
- Reworked/improved the loot table
- Slightly increased the average amount of Smooth Stone
- Slightly increased the average amount of Ender Pearls
- Replaced the Awkward Potions with 1-10 Glass Blocks
- Removed Fire Charges, Soul Sand, and Spectral Arrows
- This is very significant, as it means all other drops appear more frequently
- Reduced the chance to get String from the Loot Table
Carmot Bell
This item replicates the Carmot Staff healing ability with a Carmot Block
- Heals 5 hearts (10 health), or 10% of your max health (whichever is higher)
- Damages undead for 5 hearts (10 health), or deals 10% of their current health as damage (whichever is higher)

Aquarium Resonator
A new experimental block which builds on Conduits. This works like a small Beacon as long as it is within the range of an active Conduit. It grants you Beacon Power II, which works like Haste II plus Water Breathing.
