Engulfing Dynamic Lights has been archived. Engulfing Dynamic Lights will not receive any further updates unless the author decides to unarchive the project.

Adds the ability to save yourself from the darkness by holding an illuminating object in hand.

This is implemented by adding tags to items:

  • Items tagged with edl:safe give the Veiled effect when held in the hand. The effect disappears when in water. (Default: Torch, Soul Torch, Lava Bucket)
  • Items tagged with edl:water_safe give the Veiled effect when held in the hand even in water. (Default: Lantern, Soul Lantern, Glowstone Block, Sea Lantern, End Rod, Beacon)

Items can be added via datapack.
