UHC+: Adding More to UHC
Played enough standard UHC already? Looking for a unique twist on a classic mode? UHC+ augments the UHC experience by including a plethora of new features that will make each match different from the last.
In-depth Documentation showing information about Augments, Relics, Titans, and more: Find it Here!
Overview Video
What to expect
- A robust Augment system in which players select a perk at the start of the game. Each player chooses a different one, so each game will be a whole new adventure! There are 140+ augments and 3 different tiers of Augments, so there’s a lot of variety!
- Gigantic Titans that spawn throughout the game. Taking on these behemoths will net you great rewards!
- Brand new structures that will spice up exploration.
- Special items and equipment that can be obtained through Augments or traversing through arduous structures. These items can do wonderous things...
- Rising Lava at the final stage of the game that will keep the competition hot.
- A grace period system that stops players from attacking one another for a set time. Configurable in settings.
- Built-in autosmelt for ores and foods so that you can focus more on fighting than smelting.
- An arrow count limit to stop players from lugging too many Arrows around. Configurable in settings.
- Automatic system that stops players from entering the Nether and moves players in the Nether back to the Overworld. Configurable in settings.
- Staple UHC features like a shrinking world border, lack of natural regeneration, and permanent death.
Installation
- Download the Zip.
- Place "uhc-plus.zip" into your respective datapack folder.
- If you are playing on a server, go to your server.properties file and ensure that enable-flying is set to true and spawn-protection is set to -1.
- Make sure the datapack is enabled. It's better to add the datapack to a fresh, new world than a current world, so that the lobby and structures can generate properly. If the datapack was added while the server was running, make sure to run /reload.
Special /trigger Commands
/trigger settings
Opens up a settings menu that allows for you to change the settings of the game if you have a high enough permission level. From here, you can change things like the augment tier, the number of Titans that spawn, the size of the worldborder, and more. Some settings can't be changed when a game is started.
/trigger top
Can be used any time during the game to teleport you to the top of the surface, allowing for players to get to fighting each other more quickly. /trigger top has a 10 minute cooldown.
/trigger augments
Can be used any time during the game to show a list of the augments that other players have.
Custom Crafting Recipes
Additional items can be crafted and used in-game.
All-Seeing Eye
All-Seeing Eye reveals where your enemies are by applying Glowing on them! More effective at close range.
Player Tracking Compass
Player Tracking Compass points towards the nearest enemy player. Quite useful for when you need to find a player from across the map!
Gravel to Flint
Gravel to Flint Crafting Recipe Additionally, a recipe for Gravel to Flint is included. No need to deal with shoveling tons of Gravel during the game!
Special Functions:
These functions can be ran by an admin of the server to manually start/stop the game.
- uhcp:start manually begins the game, but we'd recommend starting by using the ready up system.
- uhcp:reset resets all aspects of the UHC game to its original state. However, be warned that some things are not removed upon reset (such as rising lava).
