26.1-26.2 UPDATE
Another update made possible with the team's great efforts!
-Grandmaster updated data and resource pack to accommodate the 26.1 version of Minecraft. Also works on 1.26.2
-Grandmaster/Crimdev fixed issue with certain netherite golems in Sanctum pillar potentially dropping a full netherite block upon death.
-Grandmaster fixed issue with Bygone Viceroy spawning in with the wrong base mobs.
-Crimdev fixed issue with the Fae Emperor spawning in with the wrong base mobs.
-Crimdev buffed Frostkin. A damage command is applied whenever they encounter fire or lava instead of the insane amount of instant damage effect that was previously applied. The damage type is fire, thereby improving the effectiveness of cryolith and netherite armor to shield them from that sort of damage.
-Crimdev found and fixed issue with cryolith armor obtained in loot tables being weaker than cryolith armor made with a smithing table.
-Grandmaster fixed issues with varkstorm music event.
-Grandmaster refitted a multitude of fields to more appropriate dimension_type and timeline files.
-Grandmaster equipped all time_check predicates with a clock component.
-Grandmaster fixed issues with several worldgen features like, ice_spike, forest_rock, and random_patch.
-Grandmaster increased the step height in Varskspace so it is easier to sprint without bumping into anything.

-Bracken added lunge to the list of enchantments blocked by the silvered enchantment.
-Bracken fixed issue where certain forbidden combinations of enchantments were possible on the same item.
-Bracken made it so obliteration enchantment works on spears instead of shovels.
-Bracken made it so wearing any armor item with the searing surface enchantment grants immunity to cold damage.
-Bracken buffed boldness enchantment. Full boldness x5 gear now grants bonus +8 damage to attacks instead of +5.

Seriously. While I was preoccupied by Hytale’s latest worldgen competition, my team was hard at work composing PHENOMINAL changes to the pack. Improvements to performance, cleaning up unused elements and reformatting the files to be much more navigable are just a fraction of what they did. And if you don’t believe me, take a look at the following…
CRIMDEV’S CHANGE LOG

Fixed non-functional armor trims.

Addressed issue in Pax where attack damage debuff didn’t let players destroy boats, minecarts or armor stands.

Players now have weakness effect in pax (PvP prevention), workaround system added using interaction entities. To add armor to an armor stand, right-click its right side. To break it, left-click its left side.

Turned admin tp command into dialog command system. (/function bracken:admin/_tp_to_dimension)
-
Added species info dialog. Players can now do "/trigger bracken.species_info" which shows a recap of their species' stats & abilities, exactly the same as what you'd see in the initial species selection dialog. (may or may not include an easter egg)

Fixed splintering enchantment. Splitering level 2 and 3 now correctly split into 4 and 5 arrows respectively. Splinter arrows no longer have fire by default.

Omnipowers rework. A big rework of the omnipower system. Players now can click on a GUI to use omnipowers, instead of typing commands. The system is also much more optimized, because it does not rely on having so many different scoreboards to track command permissions & cooldowns.
Server admins: should you wish to grant permissions (to yourself or other players), please use /function bracken:player/omnipower/perms/set/(autocomplete) or /execute as player run function bracken:player/omnipower/perms/set/(autocomplete).
NEVER, EVER do /scoreboards players set player OMNI.PERMISSIONS_OTHER (value), UNLESS you know EXACTLY what you are doing. Same goes for OMNI.PERMISSIONS_BOOK, obviously.
If something went wrong you can always do /execute as (player) run function bracken:dev/revoke_omnitriggers.

Fixed lustra duplication glitch. Lustra blocks had a misconfigured loot table that allowed players to quickly duplicate massive amounts of lustra. This has been fixed; now single petrified oak slabs will drop 4 lustra pearls.

Rectified returning tides ability book. Immobility check is exhaustive. Any kind of movement will now prevent returning tides from completing. Note that this check is extremely strict (speed has to be exactly 0).
GRANDMASTER’S CHANGE LOG
QOL Changes:

Several tweaks to the Kraken boss
- Kraken no longer destroys water around itself which was causing an enormous amount of lag.
- Kraken no longer harms itself with some attacks.
- Reduced Grapple attack damage and increased Slap attack damage.
- Previously the Kraken would dive down and make it difficult to actually engage the boss in combat if they were forced to battle in the Blackwater Depths. This behavior has been tweaked so the boss will dive down when it is above y=250 and will swim upwards when below y=250 allowing for a consistently stable battle in the middle depth of the ocean.

Fixes to the Giant Lilypad generation in Panacea. Previously this structure would frequently spawn underground or cause vegetation to hover in the air. The structure should now generate in a more natural way.

Fixes to prevent Giant Sniffers in Panacea from suffocating in blocks when they spawn. This mob now breaks trees and other vegetation when it moves around.
BRACKEN’S CHANGE LOG
-Normalized the base mob of many bosses to be a stray instead of zombies or skeletons (because they can be converted into drowned or stray).
-Changed Glacium column features in the destitute garrison biome to be less laggy. Columns are topped with sea lanterns instead of the smoke-producing campfires.
-Removed clouds from the Underdark.

3-10-26 HOTFIX
Sanctum sun texture would display at sunset in the overworld. This has been fixed but as a consequence players with the night vision effect will not be able to see the custom sun when in Sanctum for the duration of the effect.
In addition, mob spawning in the Faewild and Underdark has been adjusted to be less difficult.

With the recent changes to dimension type data and timelines, a collection of the following aesthetic decisions were made.

NOVEMBER UPDATE
Smaller update this time. Focused primarily on making Glacium and the End dimensions more habitable.

-Removed Bracken pack version of copper swords, pickaxes, axes, hoes, shovels, and armor in place of Mojang’s new copper items.
-Elytra now have a harder time flying in the rain.
-Floating magma islands and swamp islands generate in the Brine.
-Glistering melon slices are now edible. Although they grant less saturation than golden carrots, they can be rapidly eaten in a fraction of the time.
-Popped chorus fruits can be eaten and provide about the same level of saturation as a cooked steak.
-Chorus flowers can be crafted into planks.
-Chorus fruits can be crafted into magenta dye.
-Enabled the spawning of more passive and neutral mobs like chicken, foxes, polar bears, wolves, and cows to Glacium.
-Slain endermites drop blank dye.
-Issue with players not being able to choose to play as Realmkeepers from the outset of the game has been fixed.
-Issue with players automatically switching species to Realmkeepers after entering Pax has been fixed.

SPECIES CHANGES
-New players who start on a Bracken pack world will be prompted with a dialog screen asking which species they’d like to play as. After selecting, they will also be asked if they would like to start their adventure in the respective home dimension of that species.
Each dimension comes with a difficulty rating as well as a warning for certain dimensions like Dormis.
To prevent players from getting “locked” into an undesirable dimension, I made it so players will respawn in the overworld if they die. However, if you make it far enough to set your spawnpoint with a bed or respawn anchor, you will instead respawn in your chosen dimension.
-Species beginner scroll has been removed.
-Removed lackluster Frostkin buff they get from walking in powdered snow.
-Replaced Outlander backstab ability with auto swiftsneak.
-Fixed issue with Dwellers getting blinded by bright, light source blocks.
-Fixed issue with former Villain players retaining extra hp even after changing species.
DORMIS CHANGES
-Bezerium biome now has more red sandstone than yellow concrete powder. It also has a lot more fire.
-Kedeshium biome has been migrated to a higher y-level and contains granite instead of obsidian.
-Hebronium biome has been modeled to look like the old Kedesium biome with obsidian and crying obsidian blocks.
-Added howling wind sounds to shechemium biome.
-Cut the size of the Dormis maze template pool in half to reduce the lag it generated.
-Added tnt traps to Dormis, as well as motion detecting copper bulbs, and “false” tnt traps just to confuse people even more.
-Dormis slate now generates in the kedesium biome, Dormis maze now generates in the ramothium biome.
-Added 7 new mobs to Dormis, each based on certain mix/max strategies.

Blinded Markskin are a long-ranged mob that fires a bow with rending, flame, power x5, punch x2, and splintering x3, while using instant damage x3 tipped arrows. They also wear little blindfolds but they’ve been modified to have increased player follow range.
-
Phariserpens are a tanky mob that has armor piercing cryolith sickle attacks that deal poison, slowness, and blindness effects.
-
Bonewaller mobs have meteoric armor with boldness x5, a wolf’s head helmet to increase attack damage, strength x3 effect, and wield the same mortal cull greataxe weapon that drops from the Panacea sporangium boss, freshly enchanted with mortality x5, knockback x2, fire aspect x2, reverse thorns x3, and devouring curse x3.

Plunderer mobs have the wind charged effect, jump boost x3, and pushback x3 on lustra armor. Also on armor can be found full feather falling, blast protection, thorns, and float walker enchantments. They attack with a mace with breach x4, knockback x2, windburst x3, sharpness x5, and density x5.
-
Forsaken Miner shoots a crossbow with fireworks rockets, rending, and multishot x3. They hold a totem of undying in their offhand and set off a small firework explosion every time they get hit by an entity.
-
Ferral Fae mob is equipped with verdant armor, a wanderlight wand in the mainhand, and a copper apple in the offhand. They have permanent regeneration, fire resistance and health boost effects.
-
Betrayerkin might be broken. I min/maxed every defensive stat and the results are monstrous. It takes an iron golem 26 strikes to finish them off. They have cryolith armor with protection 4, a lustra buckler with guarding 5, and a tulip wand in the offhand with guarding 5. Cryolith has terrible durability and breaks rapidly, but item durability is negated when equipped to a mob.
GLACIUM CHANGES
-Fixed issue with Bygone viceroy instantly dying and transforming into two slayerkin mobs.
-Fixed issue with Glacium sun structure deleting nearby terrain.
-Frostkin Glacium mobs now drop diamond shards instead of iron nuggets and ingots.
-Added thick ocean ice layer to Glacium’s glacial mass biome.
-Added more passive mob variety to Glacium’s invasive forest biome.
OMNIDROME CHANGES
Added 3 custom Omnidrome mobs.
-
Adapter-T is a modified vex that flies around and buffs other hostile mobs with strength and speed. More are spawned when a Macroprocessor mob is attacked.
-
Parser-B is a long-ranged mob that fires a crossbow with multishot x9. It fires tipped arrows containing weaving, oozing, and infested effects.
-
Capaciphite are giant, green shulkers with greatly increased range. They attack all players except Automech players.
-All slimes in the Omnidrome explode in a burst of lingering potion and hunger potion effects. This makes the oozing effect dangerous.
-All silverfish spawned in the Omnidrome transform into adapter-t mobs. This makes the infestation effect even more dangerous.
-Omnidrome hostile mobs now drop iron nuggets and ingots.
PANACEA CHANGES
-Greater biodiversity added to Panacea. Noticeable increases in dolphins, fish, and hoglin across most biomes.
-Fixed issue with verdant helmet crafting recipe not working.
-Added new biome to Panacea in honor of data pack developer and Youtuber extraordinaire, Conure. The conure conclave features a variety of tree types, as well as floating islands. I’m still working on a means to inundate the biome with an abundance of parrots without causing lag though. (I’m probably thinking structures tbh)
PAX CHANGES
-Added happy ghasts to Pax.
-Removed powdered snow from Pax and restored water ocean.
SANCTUM CHANGES
-Sanctum whirlwinds have been replaced with giant breeze mobs. Be careful, they will still catapult you high into the air!
-Fized old issue with Sanctum functions not triggering if the player had never once held the sneak key.
-Silverfish now spawn in Sanctum’s toxic playa biome.
BRINE CHANGES
-Added new block to the game. The block of lustra is a pink-colored block and drops 9 lustra pearls when mined with a pickaxe. In turn, 9 pearls can be used to craft a block of lustra with a crafting table. The blocks can be found at the center of every giant clam structure in the Brine.
FAEWILD CHANGES
-Flying boat ability book has been removed and replaced with the Void pull ability book. Players can now craft a flying boat with pale oak planks and a single ghast tear.
To craft, place the planks as you would when crafting any boat. Place the tear in the center.
-Modified loot tables of ferryman houses to include both ghast tears and pale oak planks.
-Changed all ferryman traders so they no longer offer any flying boat book trades.
-Changed all pack rat traders to no longer sell the non-functional bucket of salmon trade. (The fish was supposed to drop a worldsoar book when slain).
-Void pull is a quality of life ability book, designed by Grandmaster. Have you ever lost all your items and spent wayyyyy too long trying to find them again? Worry no longer. With void pull, simply click to teleport all items within a 100 block radius to your location. (Also works for stealing items someone else dropped!)
UNDERDARK CHANGES
-Partial construction of the Underdark trade metropolis has been completed. The megastructure can be currently found in the diorite sea biome, but there are currently no mobs, loot, or houses yet added.
-Giant Underdark bats no longer follow players in creative mode.
VARSKSPACE CHANGES
-Reworked Varskspace’s only biome into 4 new biomes; the ahimaaz reach, chrysoprase belt, non-maxwellian sector, and vonstein expanse. The vonstein expanse was made in reference to fellow data pack creator Von Leipenstein and his adroit data pack, “The Expanse," for getting my custom sun textures working again! You’re a genius dude!
-Modified Varskspace worldgen so it could accommodate more than one biome. Turns out, the current Varskspace noise file wouldn’t allow me to include more than one biome in the dimension. I had to rebuild the entire noise file from the ground up using the Faewild’s base worldgen as a template.I think I did a good job at recreating the original varskspace feel but it took me forever to figure it out!
ITEM CURRENCY CHANGES
-Silversteel items (ingots included) clear all debuff effects from a mob or player when struck. Removes things like poison, slowness, etc…
-Added diamond shards. Craft 9 together to make a diamond. A diamond can, in turn, be used to craft 9 shards.
-Added silversteel shekels. Craft 9 together to make a silversteel ingot. An ingot can, in turn, be used to craft 9 shekels.
-Added old world bronze assarions. Craft 9 together to make a bronze ingot. An ingot can, in turn, be used to craft 9 assarions.
-Added old world bronze quadrans. Craft 4 together to make a bronze assarion. An assarion can, in turn, be used to craft 4 quadrans.
-Added old world bronze leptons. Craft 2 together to make a bronze quadran. A quadran can, in turn, be used to craft 2 leptons.
MISC CHANGES
-Added grapes to the game. You can find them by breaking azalea leaves.
-Added leaf litter and flower petals to biomes in Panacea and the Faewild.
-Added cleaving enchantment. Does the exact same level of armor piercing breaching does but with axes instead of maces
-Added scorning enchantment. Gives entities the bad omen effect when struck.
-Conure fixed an annoying invalid loot table pointer so it is no longer annoying.
-Conure cleaned up texture pack code and fixed issue with mass heal book error spam.
-OH, and FINALLY got the custom suns textures working again at long last! Thank you Von Leipenstein I wouldn't have been able to figure it out without you!
BRACKEN PACK 1.21.6 UPDATE
Three main objectives left before I retire the pack. The upcoming underdark megastructure, Dormis rework, and incorporation of more custom mobs. In the meantime, enjoy the following changes!
MOB CHANGES
-Glacium mobs have been buffed. Enemies, mounts and wolves have been granted +25 bonus armor.
-Buffed Glacium Frostkin enemies drops. (Great source of iron!)
-Added sanctum wolf to toxic playa biome. Wolf is typically invisible unless angry. Can also be tamed and is much easier to see when wearing a collar.

DIMENSION CHANGES

ITEM CHANGES

ENCHANTMENT CHANGES
-Added banishment enchantment which only exists on wanderlight wands. Teleports hit mobs to a random location and cannot be removed with a grindstone.
-Guarding enchantment now only works on shovels and spears.
-Added obliteration enchantment that summons lighting on enemies when the player hits them during a thunderstorm. Only enchantable on spears and shovels.
-Mortality only works on swords now.

HOTFIX UPDATE

BUG FIXES
-Missing advancement background textures added back in. Some have also been re-styled.
-Issue with Brine whirlpool teleport not working has been fixed. (Just straight-up changed the structure to contain an activated conduit)

NEW THINGS I ADDED TO MAKE MYSELF FEEL BETTER
-Most weapons variants, ie. bludgeon ,buckler, cutlass, etc... are now all craftable.
-Buckler, Cutlass, Rapier, and Katana weapons can now block.
-Rapiers rapidly block melee attacks, cutlasses ignore the shield disabling effect of axes, katanas can deflect projectiles, bucklers can deflect everything a shield can.
-Bludgeons now have knockback instead of knockback resistance, cutlasses and bucklers no longer grant armor, greatswords deal more damage, daggers grant swift sneak, katanas no longer reduce jump strength, spears have increased attack range, sickles have increased damage, warhammers disable shields longer than axes.
-Brine block break speed reduction has been increased from 75% to 85%.
-Players exposed to rain in the Brine now get haste effect x3.
-Added new advancement for players who experience the Brine's rain.
-Players can no longer end up in Pax randomly from Void travel.
-Added secret new advancement for players who fall to the bottom of the Void and randomly end up in the Void again.
-Added 3 new Varkspace themed advancements obtained by generating lightning, finding a Varskspace spire and teleporting back to the overworld.

1.21.5 UPDATE
Whew! This update was a painful one to get through. A recent change made to minecraft shaders has made the custom suns inoperable for the time being. Hopefully, after some of the more recent snapshots, shader changes will settle down and I can figure things out.

MOB RESKIN CHANGES
-Chickens in the Faewild are reskinned as turkeys.

DIMENSION CHANGES
-Conduit travel between the overworld and Brine has been re-enabled and improved. Being within three blocks of a conduit while staring at its top surface will transport you within a few seconds. Special thank you to Star Seed and SirFluffyPuffs for making the request!
-Updated Brine structures containing conduits, like the deluge city and brine_fan to reflect recent Brine tp changes.
-All stacked dimensions now have y-level antigravity dynamics like Sanctum. If you reach a high enough y-level, you jump higher and higher until you levitate upwards. You can also hold “sneak” to float back down.
-Players will now need to break bedrock to be able to travel to the Underdark.
-Bedrock breaking pickaxe enchantments have been added to ancient city loot and faewild village/castle loot. Players no longer have to purely rely on glitches to break bedrock or skulk-spreading to corrupt bedrock into skulk blocks. Although, I’m not stopping you if you do.
-Players can now visit the Underdark roof. Although the roof is primarily bedrock, it’s much easier to get past than the nether roof. Rifts and holes in the roof commonly have giant mushrooms growing out of them, making them easier to spot.
-More netherrack added to the lower layers of the underdark.
-Granite block layers added to the titan dripstone Underdark biome.
-Players will now need to break bedrock to be able to travel from the Nether down to Sanctum.
-Players can now visit the Nether roof without a wither skull.
-Dweller drill structures have been made more common in the Nether. By punching holes in the Nether roof, they make it possible for players to get below the bedrock even with zero items.
-In the Sanctum dimension, players can now build up to 32 blocks below terrain generation in the void beneath the world. Building void bases has never been easier!
-Sanctum mini hanger now has the bottom floor removed, exposing it to the void and making it easier for players to find.
-Sanctum now has slightly taller terrain.
-Towering beanstalk structures now generate in overworld plains, forest, and meadows biomes. They provide a convenient way for players to reach the Faewild without building a tower.
-Small and large cloud structures have been added to the Faewild.
-Players can get to Pax from the Faewild by entering Faewild clouds.
-Pax water ocean has been replaced by an ocean of powdered snow.
-Slight modifications to Faewild features to accommodate giant clouds.
-Removed negative ambient lighting from most dimensions. This was done to stop weird 1.12 water texture overlays from impeding underwater vision. As a consequence, dimensions like the Faewild, Panacea, and Sanctum, now no longer have a colored tint.
-Panacea now has a day/night cycle
-Block breaking speed reduction removed from Glacium
-Block breaking speed reduction added to Brine when outside of water.
-Underwater block breaking speed has been increased to the point that it’s much easier to break blocks in water than on land.
ENTITY CHANGES
-Fae emperor boss now places an exploding warped mushroom instead of ender crystals while fighting the player.
-Unsung boss now places ender crystals instead of instantaneously detonating primed tnt.
-Giant Jotun bats now spawn in the Underdark. They can pick the player up, deal damage to the player while holding them, and even drop the player.
-Changed appearance of Lost Miner to look more like a Dweller.
ITEM CHANGES
-Copper pickaxes, hoes, and axes break blocks faster. Another special thank you goes out to Star Seed and SirFluffyPuffs for making the request!
-Silversteel now grants enderpearl damage resistance.
-Silversteel now has a built-in smite enchantment.
-Holding a wither rose in either hand prevents the player from getting the wither effect.

1.21.4 POST SCARCITY EXPERIMENT
A little change I hope you like. Most hostile and neutral mobs now have a chance to drop items they wouldn't usually drop.
You want panaspores? Kill a creeper. You want lustra pearls? Kill a guardian. You want the fireball book? Kill a ghast. (I don't think I can anymore)
You can also get a collection of wearable items with piglin trades.
Oh, and one more thing. This version just so happens to also contain a bunch of features intended for the 1.21.5 drop. Like giant beanstalks that spawn in plains biomes. Have fun.

FEBRUARY UPDATE
MOB CHANGES
-Gave netherite golem a custom face texture instead of a plain netherite block for a head.
-Fae guards summoned by the Fae Emperor boss now have a copper rapier weapon and copper armor. They have also been renamed to “Fae Royal Guard” just as a way to differentiate them from all the other, less special, guards.
-Implemented visual update for the Valkyrie minboss at the center of Glacium snowflakes. The mob should also be initially neutral unless you attack her first.
-Implemented visual update for middle-era watchman in Glacium watchtowers. They now wear cryolith armor.
-Added the Dweller mob. Can be summoned with /function under bracken:admin commands. There are also a few that can be found in the Fae castle structure.
-Several other, previously un-summonable, custom mobs can now be summoned with admin commands.
-Fae rangers no longer spawn in clandestine castlegrounds biome. Only rarely in the Faewild whenever spider jockeys spawn.
-Fae wolves now come with a custom entity texture. All wolves spawned with a spawn egg in the Faewild will also have this display.
-Dire wolves now spawn in Glacium. They are larger than normal wolves and have +30 natural armor. They also come with a custom entity texture. All wolves spawned with a spawn egg in Glacium will also have this display.
-Added Silurian wolves to Panacea. They are very large and have a tremendous bite force. They have 50 hp and increased oxygen bonus attribute.They also come with custom entity textures. Silurian wolves are normally green-colored but turn orange when angry and blue when tamed. All wolves spawned with a spawn egg in Panacea will also have this texture.
-Gave gothrum spiders and riders the weaving effect when it rains.
-Sniffers are larger in panacea and break mangrove roots.
BOSS CHANGES
-Added Kraken boss fight. The Kraken is a Brine boss kept in stasis in the center of the underwater deluge city. If a player gets within 16 blocks of the giant squid it will wake up from stasis.
The Kraken is a fairly easy boss with most of its abilities being defensive. It can briefly turn invisible, jet horizontally or vertically away from the player, shoot blinding ink jets at the player or leave expanding trails of ink in its wake. The trident is the best recommended weapon for fighting this boss.
Its most devastating attack occurs when it rapidly spins a whirlpool that draws in all nearby entities. The Kraken not only has a high-damage bite that poisons mobs, but while spinning can slap the player at an extended range with its tentacles.
The Kraken also has a very high degree of passive regeneration, so if it escapes the player for too long, it can recover significant health. Upon getting the Kraken below a certain hp threshold, the Kraken will start bleeding blue blood, the bossbar will disappear, and the Kraken will take small passive damage until it dies.
Upon death, the Kraken drops several squid ink sacs and essence of eternity items.
WORLDGEN CHANGES
-Reworked arctic knolls biome to have less similar features to other Glacium biomes. Hydrothermal magma blocks are now a part of the theme.
STRUCTURE CHANGES
-Added Glacium tunnel structure to enable better travel underneath Glacium mountains.
-Added Brine zeppelin structure to yonder salt breaker bione. Contains pillagers + pressure plates + dispensers holding tnt. If you decide to tower up to the flying zeppelin, avoid being directly underneath!
-Added Pax columns to the grand machair biome.
-Added Pax bothy to the petal grove biome.
-Added Pax bothy secret message.
-Added loot chest to Pax bothy.
ITEM CHANGES
-Retextured shepherdess cloak and gave it an equipment model texture.
-Swapped the function of eternity and infinity essences (because it makes more sense for eternity essence to be the one that makes potions last longer).
-Corrected mislabeled entity interaction range of spears. -Buffed spear entity interaction range by 0.5 blocks.
-Gothrum fang now has infused poison enchantment.
-The base item for spears is now a shovel instead of a sword.
-Sai weapon is now crafted with a blaze rod and netherite ingot. -Sai weapon no longer deals 30 damage and hurts the welder when used.

-Hypocrite mask now properly hides the player from endermen.

ENCHANTMENT CHANGES
-Added infused fire aspect enchant. Lights mobs on fire for an hour unless put out. Items with this enchantment cannot be removed with a grindstone.
LOOT TABLE CHANGES
-Nerfed the overwhelming abundance of enchantment books found in the omnidrone library.
-Essence of eternity has been removed from Brine station so now slaying the Kraken is the only way to harvest the valuable item.
BUG FIXES AND TWEAKS
-Massive effort taken to migrate away from custom model data into entity models. Thank you so much Conure for recommending the process in the first place and guiding me through it. You made this possible!
-Fixed missing textures for spear items found in loot tables.

DECEMBER UPDATE
Hey everyone. This might come as some sad news, but the next few updates are going to be some of my last. I've had a fun time making the Bracken Pack, but ultimately it's been taking up way too much of my time and I'd like to adventure out and try some other projects out.
The Dormis update and Underdark trade center are still two MUST ADD projects I still plan on including but I figured I should at least give you all a heads up about the future of the pack.
As far as creative direction is concerned, (I've said it before and I'll say it again) this universe is your universe. Make characters, write stories, and code to your heart's content. If you are a fan, you own the Bracken Pack.
Here are the following changes. Works for 1.21.3 but since the latest full release update just dropped expect an update soon.
-Added long-awaited Dormis maze structure. Includes 50 jigsaws that can assemble together in different ways.
-Added Holdkeeper Guard trial spawners to maze. Tanky as heck, and shoots flaming arrows. They also have unicorn horns.
-Buffed vitality enchantment again. A full set of verdant armor now gives you 12 hearts.
-Special thanks to Fluffypanda in the official discord for setting up this one. Mojang's enchantment changes had capped the effectiveness of the thorns enchantment rendering the shepherdess cloak very weak. Intrinsic thorns enchantment has now been added. Does far greater damage than thorns. Fluffy, you rock! Thanks for helping us out on this one.
-Shepherdess cloak now grants a large entity interaction range attribute instead of one fewer hearts.
-Secret Sanctum boss defeat advancement fixed.

Using a smithing table, players can take any enchanted book, a silk patch, and a diamond, and craft it into two inscribed silk patches. These inscribed patches “record” the original enchantments the book had.
They can then be used with a normal, unenchanted book and an experience bottle, to make two, identical enchantment books.

Silversteel items are crafted using a smithing table the same way as netherite items (needing diamond items as a base as well as a netherite upgrader template). Silversteel items possess the silvered enchantment, preventing silversteel items from ever being enchantable outside of using cheats. Enchanted diamond items will lose all enchantments and curses if crafted into silversteel. BOY I SURE DO LOVE MAKING HOTFIXES
In a rush to release the last hotfix, I accidentally unleased an abomination of a structure test I had never intended to see the light of day.
Within version #110, a giant 5 block thick obsidian floor coats the entirety of the overworld at around y=15. This is obviously bad for anyone hoping to get diamonds from the overworld or just dig in general.
In addition, an obsidian ceiling exists in the nether at y=123, but is less obstructive given the nether's bedrock ceiling is already at y=128. Both obsidian structures have now been removed.
In other news, here are some new features I've been working on.
-You can now locate the Sanctum embassy and Omnidrome living palace structures with eyes of ender.
-Bedrock blocks are no longer immune to sculk spread.
-Cryolith base item has been changed from a repeating command block to a retextured/edited spawn egg. Don't worry it won't spawn anything if you click it (Unless you guys in the Discord have something in mind)
-Lustra pearl base item has also been changed from a command block (gross) to a spawn egg.
-Visit all underdark biomes advancement has finally been fixed.
-Fixed issue with Panacea rain event commands not working.
HOTFIX (again)
Ughhhhh! What now? Another crash-causing event has been discovered in the faewild. I've reworked the faewild malmsy candles again as well as nerfed the number of faewild trees. I've also gotten rid of all gravel in the faewild just as an added precaution. So sorry about this one guys!

Antivenom: Armor enchantment that reduces damage taken from potions, thorns, or sonic attacks.
Boldness: Armor enchantment that increases player attack damage. Incompatible with protection.
Chiseling Curse: Intended for a future, “chisel” item to be added to the pack. It’s only a curse to prevent the ability from being removed with a grindstone. Pickaxes can switch stone blocks between variants. Clicking on stone bricks turns them into chiseled stone bricks etc…
Defusing: Melee weapon enchantment. Creepers hit with it don’t explode.
Dentine Touch: Pickaxe enchantment that turns bedrock into deepslate.
Devouring Curse: Sharp weapon curse that deals bonus damage to both the target and wielder.
Dullness Curse: Sharp weapon curse that reduces the damage inflicted.
Famine Walker: Boot enchantment that replaces water blocks with air and grass blocks with dirt.
Ferocity: Melee weapon enchantment that increases attack speed.
Float Walker: Boot enchantment that reduces the player’s gravity.
Flood Walker: Boot enchantment that replaces air with water.
Fragility Curse: Item curse that increases the rate at which durability is consumed. (Made by Conure)
Freezing Curse: Applies slowness effect. Intended to be added to future cryolith items. Only made a curse for technical reasons.
Guarding: Sharp weapon enchantment that reduces incoming damage (basically just the protection enchantment but for held weapons). Incompatible with sharpness.
Lethargy Curse: Sharp weapon curse that reduces attack speed.
Lifesteal: Bow enchantment that grants the wielder a brief burst of regeneration after hitting a target.
Maiming Curse: Armor curse that reduces wearer’s health by one heart.
Mortality: Deal bonus damage to non-player entities. Like smite but just against players.
Poisoning Curse: Applies poison effect. Intended to be added to future verdant items. Only made a curse for technical reasons.
Pushback: Armor enchantment that knocks away the attacker. Like thorns but with knockback instead of damage. Also knocks the wearer backwards but not as severely.
Searing Surface: Armor enchantment that burns the attacker. A simple enchantment but quite effective.
Sentience Curses 1-7: Items with this enchantment make noises when dealing damage. No strategic advantage or disadvantage, just goofy.
Shrewdness: Sword enchantment that grants extra experience after killing a mob.
Splintering: Bow enchantment. Targets struck will summon three arrows which may damage nearby entities. Also spreads flaming arrows and tipped arrows. (Made by Crim)
Spectrality: Sharp weapon enchantment that makes the target glow when hit.
Vitality: Armor enchantment that gives an extra heart to the wearer.
Wisdom: Pickaxe enchantment that grants extra experience when mining blocks.
SPECIES CHANGES:
Automechs have greatly increased health, increased step height, and now have innate knockback with their melee attacks.
Frostkin have increased step height, health and high sweeping damage ratio with melee attacks.
Dwellers have increased health.
Faefolk have decreased health.
Hunters have increased step height after eating apples.
Nereids have increased health, increased gravity, slightly reduced speed, and increased step height. Instead of having indefinite water breathing the time they can hold their breath is now 20 minutes.
Netherkin, Outlanders, and Realmkeepers have reduced health.
Realmkeepers have more absorption and retain absorption buff regardless of missing hp.
Villains have more health but are now attacked by polar bears, zombie piglin, and bees. I did try adding wolves to the list but it was too depressing having my own dogs attack me :(
DIMENSION CHANGES:
Copper ore now generates in the Faewild dimension.
Lapis ore generates less frequently in the Faewild.
Glacium block breaking speed attribute reduced in severity from -75% to -50%
