This datapack adds enchantments using origins!
-Methods to obtain
Villagers: You can trade with librarians to get some books.(you cannot obtain curses this way)
Enchanting Table: Hold the item you want to enchant in your main hand and atleast 6 lapis in your offhand with 10 exp levels abd right click an enchantment table(more random than villager but much cheaper)
-Applying the books You can enchant items by right clicking the book on the desired item and making sure you have enough EXP in your inventory. Unless the enchantment is already applied.(Doesn't work in creative inventory.)
-Upgrading the books Some books have the Roman numeral "I" next to them, that means you can upgrade books! right click a book with an identical one to upgrade it.
-Removing enchantments You can remove every enchantment from an item by right clicking it with a grindstone. To remove cursea use an enchanted golden apple.
-Creating enchantments You can create enchantments by first creating a primed enchantmented book by using a golden apple on a book this does nothing on its own(like the mundane potion) buy combine this with specific items to make unique enchantment unobtainable through other means. Making a primed book requires 5 exp and creating a book requires 10(seprate from the normal exp cost)
-Enchantments:
Double jump: You can jump twice(Applied to boots).
Ultralight: You can wear armor even if you're an elytrian(any armor) but you cannot use protection.
Syphon (1-3):Everytime you hit an entity you regain some hearts.(Sword)cannot work with beserker.
Solidwater: Horses can use frost walker on water.(Horse Armor)
Reach(1-2):You can reach more blocks to mine. (Pickaxes)
Veinminer:Shift break an ore and you can get multiple. (Pickaxes)
Tree Capitator: Same as veinminer but for trees. (Axes)
Beserker(1-2): The less health you have the more damage you do. (Sword) cannot work with syphon.
Repulse: You can knock entites back as you block them. (Shield)
Frost aspect(1-2): You deal slowness with every hit.(Sword)
Fratricide(1-5): You deal more damage to players(Sword) cannot work with sharpness
Lava Walker:You can walk on lava(Boots)
Curse of Heaviness: You have half your jump height. (Boots)
Poison Aspect: Every entity you hit will be given the poison effect.(Sword)
Curse of Clumsiness: Every 30 seconds there is a random chance to drop your held item or armor with the enchantment.
Magic Protection(1-4): Every armor piece you wear reduces time and lvl of the bad effect based on the enchantment level.
Unseen: Put an elytra with this enchantment in your first hotbar slot and it will be invisible (you need to not be wearing anything on your chest), however this will decrease the elytra's durability 1 with each second that bypasses unbreaking even while not flying.(combine invisibility potion with a primed book.)
Sticky: This helmet enchantment will allow you to stick to ceiling that are directly above your head(shift to lower) and even allows you to go one block above if you are good with the timing.(combine honey block or slime block with a primed book)
Magnet: This enchantment book when held in your offhand or mainhand allows items that are 3.5 blocks away and under to attract toward you.(combine redstone block with a primed book)
Pull: This fishing rod enchantment allows you yo pull yourseld towards the bobber, but it only has about 10 uses.(combine lead with a primed book)
There is a commands txt file in the datapack that has all commands that allow you to obtain book.
Note: alot of people suggested ideas and changes unfortunately I didn't have time to implement them as I had tests so I will try to add more in the future this datapack is functional but may receive future updates to change add or remove features I was working on this while I had tests sorry if this feels rushed
