Arboria Saplings allows you to grow trees from the world generation datapack Arboria: Biome Enhancement with saplings. It can be used by itself or in combination with Arboria.
Saplings may grow into different tree variants depending on which blocks they're planted on (dirt, podzol, coarse dirt etc.). If planted on moss blocks they will grow into regular vanilla trees. For a full list of tree types visit the PMC page.
The datapack doesn't work on realms.
