An Ore-Gone Conclusion

An Ore-Gone Conclusion

Data pack

This datapack transforms how you gather resources by disabling overworld ore deposits and replacing it with random ore and mineral drop chances from common overworld stones. No more hunting for ore blocks—now every block a chance for treasure!

Ore deposits are gone, but structures like fossils and mineshafts still generate ores. Instead, every overworld stone now has a chance to drop one or more random ores or minerals. Drop rates are about double what you'd normally find at their optimal depths, with deeper stones yielding rare drops like diamonds. Designed for a modpack that disables The Nether, you can even mine quartz and have an extremely small chance to find ancient debris when breaking deepslate!

These drops do respect Fortune enchantments.
