🖋️ SUB-TYPES
🖌️ Abnormal
Destined to search for an enlighting tale.
The Abnormals never mutated like Aberrant and Abberance, they vowed to remain the same.
❔ Atypical
You haven't changed. This is the normal Aberration experience.
🖊️ Aberrant
Ink, flows freely if you allow it.
Upon breaching the limitations of their capsules, the Aberrants' thirst to explore grew larger than anyone could've forseen.
🔋 Overcharged
Travelling is so vital to you that your ink has bent to that belief; your dashes now extinguish you, and after dashing, you have a brief opportunity to dash again, disregarding the cooldown.
- When using an elytra, you cannot avoid the dash cooldown; nevertheless, during this period, your airspeed increases.
👀 Many Eyes
When you are not exposed to sunlight, you're able to see in the dark.
💔 Discharge
You now take greater damage when your ink level is less than half.
- When below half you take 2x more damage.
✒️ Aberrance
Kill those destined to die.
Now that their violent impulses have become unchecked, the Aberrance are incredibly deadly opponents.
⚔️ Fighting Focused
Combat has weakened your skills, making them less effective than before. Your dashes are no longer as effective and are more expensive to employ.
- Dashing now costs 30 ink, whereas dashing with an elytra only costs 25. Your secondary now costs 20 ink, and gliding downward now costs 2 ink per second.
🗡️ Isolated Ink
When you dash through an entity, you cover it in ink, which has affects seen in tooltips.
- Hitting an entity under ink feeds you 1 hunger and 1 saturation.
INK EFFECTS
Ink coated enemies have reduced movement speed and are unable to heal. Ink takes time to dissipate.
- Ravens Eye: Entities that are under the ink effect take slightly more damage to arrows shot by you.
🧪 Transfer
Hitting an entity covered in ink while you have an effect will remove it from you and transfer it to them.
- This can be a double-edged sword because it can also transfer your potion's beneficial benefits. Unlike the effects original duration, all transfered effects only last for 30 seconds.
Additional

Aberration is an origin focused on general mobility, whether that be in combat or travel. Its fire downside, while basic, encourages intelligent use of abilities while travelling the nether. Dependant encourages intelligent use of mobility in combat, forcing you to be aware of how much ink you have.
