Even if it says it's made for a newer/older version of the game, it'll work. Don't worry. Just covering a large ammount of versions.

"What's the difference between the Standard version and Comparity version?"

UI Elements like the minecraft title and background are unchanged from Vanilla on the comparity version, for compatibility with UI changing mods and modpacks, like Re-Console. It also includes the 1.20.4 bat model addon by default, and as such, bats won't work below 1.20.4.
