Changelog
Here's how the plugin works:
-
Configuration: After the plugin compiles for the first time, you'll need to configure it by editing the
config.yml
file. In this file, replace the placeholder values with your Discord bot's token (from the bot you've invited to your Discord server) and the ID of the specific channel where you want to send commands. This setup process is similar to how the popular DiscordSRV plugin is configured. -
Bot Permissions: Ensure that the bot has the necessary permissions in the Discord channel, including
Message Content
permission andAdministrator
role, to allow it to send and receive commands. -
Command Execution: Once configured, the plugin will listen for commands in the specified Discord channel. To execute a server command, simply type it with the
command
prefix. For example:command say hi
command ban brogamer123
command stop
The plugin will then execute these commands on your Minecraft server as if they were entered directly into the console.
-
Real-Time Management: This setup allows you to manage your server in real-time from anywhere, using any device with Discord, making server administration more flexible and convenient.
