Visual Overhaul

  • Raid crystals have gotten a visual upgrade!
  • Raid crystals emit sparkling particles when they are active.
  • Tera and Dynamax raids will emit different colored particles.
  • New raid crystal beam visuals, which scales in power based on the raid tier.
  • You can toggle the legacy beacon beam effect in the client config.

World Gen Upgrades

  • Improved the generation of raid dens to allow spawning under trees.
  • The spawn rate of raid dens can now be configured per-dimension in the common config, rather than a datapack.
  • Nether* and End raids can now natively spawn if added to the spawn rate config. For additional dimensions, a custom datapack will need to be created (Refer to the Wiki).
  • Added an experimental raid den spawn generator which bypasses the sky requirement of raid dens.*

Other Changes and Fixes

  • Improved raid boss scaling algorithm.
  • Added a scale field to raid bosses to customise your own scale.
  • Fixed issue with raids crashing when no battles are active.
  • Fixed some issues with players being stuck in raids after leaving.
  • Added Assist and Sleep Talk to the default config blacklisted moves. Existing worlds may need to add these moves in manually or delete the existing blacklist config.
  • Fixed shoulder mounted Pokemon unmounting when leaving raid dens.
  • Added extra information explaining the Raid Shard to JEI/REI/EMI.

*Experimental spawn generator is in beta. Please backup worlds when enabling this and provide feedback.
